Omega-3 Fish Oil Plus Cholesterol Support combines 300 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, including EPA and DHA, with an equivalent of 500 mg of plant sterols. The product is designed as an ideal support for heart health and healthy circulation*, and can help with lowering total and LDL cholesterol.**†
The National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) recommends 2 g per day of dietary phytosterols (plants stanols and sterols) as part of the Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes (TLC) to help lower LDL cholesterol. Phytosterols are found in unrefined vegetable, nut, and olive oil; nuts, seeds, whole grains and legumes are also premium sources of phytosterols.
